This course will run twice a year – once in the morning and once in the afternoon – to facilitate different time zones.

This course, delivered by Dr Susan Ebbels and Hilary Nicoll, is suitable for those who are confident with all the material in The SHAPE CODING Part 1 course, are experienced in using the system and wish to extend their knowledge of its use for more complex language. The SHAPE CODING Practical Applications course may be more suitable for those who would like to increase their confidence in using the Part 1 course content in practical situations.

We recommend allowing at least three months between the Part 1 and Part 2 courses so participants have time to put their prior learning into practice and therefore gain more from the Part 2 course. A pre-course assignment will assess suitability for this course. Please complete this well before the course date and ask for a copy in advance if you are unsure.

This course involves active participation in workshops with support and feedback. The content is tailored to attendees’ needs, but is likely to cover:
